On June 17 Andros Asia hosted a partnership conference in Tien Giang Province, an event that aimed to promote the development of a sustainable fruit network by the company, local farmers and authorities and fruit suppliers.
At the conference, farmers and suppliers were provided with knowledge of Andros Asia's processes from selecting fruits and processing them into premium products that are to be exported to demanding markets such as the U.S., EU and Japan.
The partnership conference also marked Andros Asia's fifth anniversary in Vietnam and the grand opening of the Go Cong cold storage.

"All these activities aim to level up local farmers' mindset and skills, and achieve optimal fruit quantity and quality, which creates a stable flow of income for them.", Valentin Tran, General Manager of Andros Asia said.
Experts from Andros Asia have worked closely with local farmers to help them understand the strict quality standards for fruits in foreign markets and upgrade their knowledge and skills to improve orchards.
Andros Asia has a target of buying 30,000 tons of fruits per year by 2025, all good enough for export to international markets.

Besides creating a large network of local farmers, the company is also working with local authorities to facilitate local fruit production.
It has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Tien Giang cooperative alliance for developing the fruit farming - consumption chain. According to the MoU, the chain will be based on Andros Asia’s agri-engineering services model, which includes providing seedlings, tending and harvesting techniques, post-harvest techniques, and the processing of output fruit.
"It is all aimed at sustainable mutual development as well as achieving the highest quality of input fruit ingredients for Andros Asia (Global G.A.P standard)," Valentin Tran, General Manager of Andros Asia said.
