Jennifer Hudson appears in Cong Tri dress

American singer and actress Jennifer Hudson appeared in a piece from Cong Tri's Fall-Winter collection for a photo shoot with Ebony Magazine.

Hudson appears in the September issue of the magazine in an off-the-shoulder minidress made off taffeta and organza fabric. According to Tri, it took him and his team 336 hours to make the dress, which features Tri's weaving and folding techniques.

The outfit, one in 36 dresses in Tri's latest collection, was borrowed by the singer's team to join the photo shoot of Ebony, a monthly magazine that focuses on news, culture, and entertainment for the African-American community.

Hudson also wore dresses from some other fashion houses during the photo shoot and interview.

Ever since 2019 New York Fashion Week in which Tri showcased his collection and earned a lot of kudos, his global popularity has been on the rise, with a number of celebrities choosing to wear his creations at high-profile events.

Recently, his Fall-Winter 2021 collection was showcased in fashion magazine Vogue.

This year, actresses Charlize Theron, Hailee Steinfeld, Kelly Marie Tran and singers Bebe Rexha, Leslie Grace, Jazmine Sullivan, and Becky G all sported his outfits at several events.

Jennifer Hudson, 39, is an American singer and actress who has received various accolades for both her music and acting, including an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and two Grammy Awards.
