In the 85th minute of a V. League game between SHB Da Nang and Hanoi on April 2, Quyet ran straight into defender Janclesio Santos instead of the ball in front of him. He was shown a yellow card. However, after reviewing the video of the incident, V. League organizers adjudged his action as a deliberate foul and reported the unsporting behavior to the VFF.

In the same game, Viet Anh also made a violent play in the last minute of the first half. French forward Papa Ibou Kébé fell down after being fouled by defender Tran Van Kien. Instead of stopping play, Viet Anh kicked the ball onto Kébé’s chest, leading to a brief altercation between players of both sides. The referee showed Viet Anh the yellow card.
The loss of two players compounds Hanoi FC’s crisis. The club have already lost Do Hung Dung, Brazillian forward Bruno Cantanhede and Brazilian striker Geovane Magno to injuries. Other key players like Tran Dinh Trong and Nguyen Quang Hai haven't returned to form after suffering injuries.
The capital city club have just 10 points after seven games to be placed seventh in the table. After the 0-2 loss against Da Nang, Hanoi decided to sack coach Chu Dinh Nghiem and replaced him with Hoang Van Phuc, former Quang Nam FC and Vietnam national team coach.
Hanoi FC will play their next league game against V. League title defender Viettel FC on April 7.
